Man Behind The Camera
My name is Jose Romero and I'm a freelance adventure, lifestyle and travel photographer living on the road full time.
After graduating from high school I attended Chabot College and Arizona State University before ultimately dropping out in early 2016 to pursue photography full time. Shortly after I purchased Tolula (my Ford Transit) and began converting it to be adventure ready.
In April of 2017 I quit my full time job at Borrowlenses and hit the road. At 23, this was my first time ever moving out of my house and leaving the state for an extended period of time.
I've been described as a dreamer on more than one occasion and have been told be a bit of a perfectionist. My buddy Justin also once called me a dirtbag while I was eating grapes for dinner after a week in Moab without a shower. Take what you will from both those statements.
I love to tell stories and over the years photography and content creation have become a form of expression for me.
