Man Behind The Camera

It seems like the question I get the most is how long I've been taking pictures? To be completely honest, I have no idea. Growing up I was always fortunate enough to have access to some sort of camera but it wasn't until my late teens that I really began to show interest in photography. Right around the same time I was introduced to the outdoors and I began to document my trips as a way to show my family what I was doing and the places I was experiencing.

In mid-2016 I decided that having Yosemite 3 1/2 hours away wasn't enough and I moved into the park for a season. Shortly after working in the valley I spent a year living and traveling in a van. During my time on the road I visited 13+ National Parks, left the country for the first time and took thousands of images.

These days I'm back in the SF Bay Area where I grew up. Even though I've picked up a full time job since I moved out of the van, I'm still taking pictures and still sacrificing my sleep to be outside as much as possible.

Latest Project:
Grand Canyon Of The Tuolumne

The Grand Canyon Of The Tuolumne is a 47 mile trek in the Yosemite backcountry. Over the course of 4 days and 3 nights we hiked across some of the most spectacular landscapes I've ever photographed. Check out my images by clicking this link.
